About

The Atelier Brancusi is a French glyptotheque, an annex to the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Located on Place Georges-Pompidou, with an area of 600 m2, the Atelier Brancusi is a faithful reconstruction of the workshop of the sculptor Constantin Brâncuși, located successively at the 8th then at the 11 impasse Ronsin (75015), and bequeathed by the artist to the State in 1956 (by will). Partly reconstituted in 1962 in the collections of the National Museum of Modern Art, then located at the Palais de Tokyo, the Workshop will then be completely rebuilt in 1977, facing the Pompidou Centre.
