Fort de Montlandon

Montlandon Fort, also known as Mortier Fort or Fort Fermier Locally, is part of the fortifications of eastern France of the Séré de Rivières type. It is located near Montlandon. Montlandon Fort is located 10 km east of Langres, at the top of a 416 m plateau, on the ridge between Plesnoy and Montlandon. Built late, it was to fill both the space between Plesnoy Fort and Cognelot Fort, and control the railway from Neufchâteau to Belfort.
