Église Notre-Dame de Livron

The Shrine of Notre Dame de Livron is a place of pilgrimage located in the Tarn-et-Garonne near the town of Caylus. It is located in the northern end of the department in the area taken in 1808 from the Lot department when Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte decided, at the request of the population, to create a new department with Montauban as the capital. The Tarn-et-Garonne was created in the neighbouring departments: the Lot, Aveyron, Gers, Tarn and Haute-Garonne.
