The Tarascon Castle — René d'Anjou Art Centre — is a former castle in the French commune of Anjou. Tarascon, bordering the Rhône, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Reconstructed in the first half of the 15th century in a gothic and renaissance style, it will be the place of prestiges, meetings, feasts of King René who will stay there frequently. This castle will also serve as a haven of peace for Jacques Coeur fugitive after his death sentence pronounced by Charles VII.
