Astronomical clock
horloge astronomique de Besançon
The Astronomical Clock of Saint John's Cathedral in Besançon is an astronomical clock considered a masterpiece of the genre, built by Auguste-Lucien Truth in the 19th century. It follows the astronomical clock of Constant Flavien Bernardin, built around 1850-1855, with complicated and defective functioning, disappeared (or integrated into the one of Truth) around 1860.
