Souleuvre Viaduct

The viaduct of the Souleuvre is a abandoned railway structure of the Caen - Vire line, which is now extinct. It is located in the commune of Souleuvre en Bocage, in the heart of the Norman bocage, in Calvados. In the heart of the very hilly landscape of Lower Normandy, the crossing of the Souleuvre valley imposed the construction of this monumental viaduct that dominates the river bed at a height of about 60 meters.
