The Château d'Usson was a French castle located in the commune of Usson, in the department of Puy-de-Dôme, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Situated on the high hill of this village, at 633 m above sea level, the Château d'Usson was originally in the 12th century a very important fortress with double enclosure, built by the Counts of Auvergne, because of its strategic interest near Issoire; his chestnut was in Auvergne County.
