Manneken-Pis de Broxeele

The Broxele Manneken-Pis is an official copy of the Brussels Manneken-Pis. Broxele and Brussels having the same etymology, the city of Brussels and the order of the friends of the Manneken-Pis decide in 1979 to donate a replica of the Manneken-Pis to the commune of Broxele in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region of France. In 1980 it was placed on a brick column.

The installation is accompanied by some festivities, for which the Order of Friends of Manneken-Pis travels from Brussels. In 2011, the statue was replaced and moved in front of the town hall. She owns a peasant costume.
