The Museum of Workers' Memory, Mines and Minors in Saint-Maime presents the exploitation of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence lignitere basin. His collection contains stories of former miners, photographs, and objects to illustrate and explain the history of the mine. The museum also discusses geology issues.

Lignite mines in the Saint-Maime area, which began operation in the 17th century, employed up to 300 people. They closed on 1 November 1949.
