musée maritime fluvial et portuaire de Rouen
The river and port marine museum of Rouen is an associative museum that traces the history of the port of Rouen as well as that of navigation in general. It covers river and sea navigation and also presents a large collection of ship models of all ages. The association was founded in 1980 and the museum opened its doors to the public in 1999 on the occasion of the Armada de Rouen.
The museum takes place in Hangar 13 next to a traditional naval restoration workshop. A self-propelled houseboat is located in the courtyard of the museum.
