The covered driveway of Castel-Ruffel is a covered driveway located in Saint-Goazec in the Finistère department.

History: The building was mentioned in 1843. It was searched by Baron Halna du Fretay in 1892. The alleyway is classified as a historic monument by order of May 9, 1914.

Description: The covered driveway is 282 metres above sea level, near the top of the Menez an Duc. It is oriented on a south-east/north-east axis. It consists of nine arched shale slabs two by two to form a ridged roof, the last pair is incomplete but a tenth slab is reversed to the ground. The whole length is 12 m for a height of 2 to 2.30 m. This type of construction is uncommon, but other examples are known, including the covered driveway from Lesconil to Poullan-sur-Mer. The building is located near a prehistoric camp, composed of two concentric elliptical enclosures, having 80 and 100 metres respectively of larger axis, formed of cement-free piled stones, located in a remarkable site, a nipple forming one of the highest peaks of the Black Mountains.
