The Trompette castle, deformity of Tropeyte castle, was a fortress, today razed, which stood in the commune of Bordeaux, in the department of Gironde, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It was built in the north of the city after the Hundred Years' War, by the King of France Charles VII, both to defend and to supervise the Bordelais.
