The castle then fort of Joux is a French castle located in the commune of La Cluse-et-Mijoux in the department of Doubs, in the region Burgundy-Franche-Comté. It overlooks the cluse of Pontarlier opening the passage to Switzerland in the Jura massif. It has been classified as historic monuments since 18 July 1996.
