viaduc de la ligne B du métro de Rennes
The viaduct of line B of the Rennes metro is a railway work of the bridge type in the French department of Ille-et-Vilaine in Brittany. It connects the municipalities of Rennes and Cesson-Sévigné by crossing many streets. The viaduct was put into service in 2022 and is borrowed by the trains of the Rennes metro line B.
The total length of the work is 2,395 m. Designed by Lavigne & Chéron Architectes, it consists of a concrete deck resting on piles of the same material and it has the peculiarity of having three metro stations: Beaulieu - University, Atalante and the Cesson terminus - Viasilva.
