The green casting of the Penetrant or green casting of Rennes is a green space located between the ring road and the Saint-Martin meadows in the northern districts of Rennes, in the French department of Ille-et-Vilaine in Brittany. Planned to host a road in the 1980s, the project is abandoned in the face of protests from the residents and is now left as it is with its vegetation, assigning it the name green casting.
