The place of memory at Chambon-sur-Lignon is a memorial space located at Chambon-sur-Lignon in Haute-Loire (France). It is dedicated to the history of the Righteous and Resistance during the Second World War. The museum gathers traces of the collective civil disobedience of the inhabitants of the Plateau and their rescue from the Jews during the Second World War.
While mentioning the names of the ninety people proclaimed "righteous" by the Yad Vashem Memorial, beginning with the community leaders, Trocmé and Theis Pastors, Mayor Guillon and Roger Darcissac Teacher. He explains the context and makes it clear that it is the whole plateau, even beyond the commune of Chambon, that was involved in these acts of discreet heroism.
