The monument to Demolombe also called monument to Charles Demolombe or statue of Demolombe and his pupil is a statuary group located in Caen (Calvados - France). Directed by Edmond de Laheudrie, it represents a bust of the lawyer and professor Charles Demolombe accompanied by a student sitting in front of the pedestal; These two elements are made of bronze. The group was set up in 1905, just one year after the installation was decided.

It is separated for the first time when the "student" party should have been sent to Germany as part of the mobilization of non-ferrous metals during the Second World War. Hidden during the rest of the war, she joined after the war the bust remained on her base. However, in the late 1950s, following a redevelopment of the square, the work was relegated to the reserves of the Normandy Museum.

The "student" part is taken from the reserves to sit alone in front of the museum entrance in the early 2000s. After having been separated for 65 years, the two elements of the statutory group were reunited and handed over to their original location on the Place de la République in March 2024.
