Calvet Museum

The Calvet Museum is the main museum in Avignon. It is housed, for its fine arts part, in a classified 18th century mansion. The richness and importance of its collections are recognized. They relate to archaeology, fine arts, decorative arts, especially goldsmithy, earthenware, porcelain, tapestry, iron and ethnology in Asia, Oceania and Africa.
