Saumur Castle is a castle located in the Loire Valley in the French commune of Saumur, in the department of Maine-et-Loire, at the confluence of the Loire and Thouet. The castle is listed as a historical monument in 1862 and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Loire Valley between Sully-sur-Loire and Chalonnes-sur-Loire.
