Musée d'art moderne de Collioure
The Museum of Modern Art of Collioure was created by the painter of Russian origin Jean Peské in 1934 and taken over in 1985 by the small municipality of the Pyrénées-Orientales. After having been in joint management with the Museum of Modern Art of Céret until 2019, the Museum of Modern Art of Collioure plans to expand to pay tribute to the arrival of Henri Matisse in 1905, who has painted the small town on numerous occasions, offering a permanent journey and encouraging contemporary creation more.
