About

Basi () is a prehistoric site located in the municipality of Serra-di-Ferro in southern Corsica. Discovered in 1965, it was surveyed by Gérard Bailloud between 1968 and 1972. Despite their small surface area, these first works have made it possible to structure the recent Prehistory of Corsica.

New excavations conducted by Thomas Perrin since 2016 have revealed more dense and structured occupations than previous discoveries. This work revealed an occupation of the site from the Mesolithic to the Middle Bronze Age.
