pont de Spina-Cavallu
The bridge of Spina-Cavallu (Ponti di Spin'à Cavaddu) is a bridge in Corsica, on the Rizzanese River. It is located in the Alta Rocca, between Propiano and Sartène. It is 64 or 65 metres long and 2.60 metres wide.
Its arch in the middle of the hanger that rises to 7.7 meters above the water level of the Rizzanese. The batteries are defended by four grey granite masonry beaks. The name refers to the arched shape of the bridge, which resembles the back of a horse.
It is one of the most famous bridges in Corsica[ref. necessary].
