Fort Freinet is a medieval fortified site located on the territory of the commune of La Garde-Freinet, in the department of Var, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Located on a rocky spur of the Maures Mountains, it dominates the surrounding plain and occupies a strategic position offering a wide panorama of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and the Var hinterland.
