War memorial of La Châtre

La Berrichonnne is the sculpture of the monument to the dead of the commune of La Châtre in the French department of Indre. It represents a peasant in hoofs who collects his head inclined and hands joined, to the soldiers dead for France. It is the work of sculptor Ernest Nivet and was inaugurated in 1923. A lantern of the dead stands next door.
