The Church of the Sauveur-au-Temple Presentation (in modern Greek: Following the installation in the region of many Greeks, who joined France during the First World War or as refugees of late Ottoman genocides, the Greek-Turkish war and a series of events called the Great Disaster; The Greek and Orthodox community of the city feels the need to establish a place of worship. This situation remained frozen until the mid-1950s, when the future Metropolitan of France, Mélétios Karabinis, established a Hellenic home in the city, and placed a small chapel there to serve the needs of the community. The lack of space and the need for a church prompted the community to raise funds and build the church in 1984.
