The Palais Archiépiscopal d'Aix, more commonly known as Palais de l'Archevêché, or former bishop of Aixois, is one of the 19 archepiscopal palaces of France. Completed in its present form in the eighteenth century, it houses the highest institution of the Roman Catholic Church in Provence, under the old regime. The current buildings were built between 1650 and 1730.
