Sanctuaire du Mesnil

The Sanctuary of Mesnil is an ancient cultural building located in Baron-sur-Odon, in the French department of Calvados. If several concentric galleries are highlighted, no building similar to a cella seems to occupy the space thus delimited, which makes the architecture of this sanctuary, of which no vestiges are visible in elevation, very particular. It is discovered and summarily explored in the 1950s before new studies were undertaken in the 1970s, in 2014 and from 2020 onwards.
