église Saint-Sauveur de Bellême
The church Saint-Sauveur is a parish church of Catholic worship located in the city of Bellême, in the French department of Orne and the Normandy region. It is the only remaining church in the city. At the site of an old chapel, this church is built in the 16th and 17th centuries in classical style.
The interior has ancient elements but was largely taken over in the 19th century. The nave is flanked by four chapels to the north and all the more to the south. The tower (clocher-porch) was listed as a historical monument in 1936 and the entire building in 1987.
Elements of the statuary, paintings, woodwork and furniture are protected as historical monuments under object title.
