Musée Matisse

The Matisse Museum in Nice is dedicated to the work of French painter Henri Matisse. It brings together one of the world's most important collections of his works, which allows to trace his artistic path and his evolutions from his beginnings to his latest works. Located in the Villa des Arenes, a 17th century Genoese villa in the Cimiez district, the museum opened in 1963.
