About

The Church of Saint-Louis de Tourcoing is a church in Tourcoing in the popular area of Épidème, disused by the diocese of Lille in 2009. It is neo-Roman style, the exterior is brick, with a high bell tower on the facade. It is currently rehabilitated in cultural space by a social reintegration school project, where pedagogy and the transmission of shared values is a priority.

This project allows us to return to life, thanks to the aid received from the various donors very invested in the project (Foundation Treille Espérance, Fondation Anber, Fondation du Patrimoine, Ville de Tourcoing, the département du Nord, Région Hauts-de-France, MEL, Mouvaux Solidarité...). This unique space is visited during the open doors as at Heritage Days, the third weekend in September. Association The essence and senses of the place is the actor who animates the place socially and locally.

The FARAB association brings the project beyond the walls and coordinates the projects of the former Saint-Louis church in Tourcoing and the former Saint-Gérard church in Wattrelos.
