Musée bigouden

About

The Bigouden Museum is a museum of ethnography specializing in the study of Bigouden society. Located in the castle of the barons of Pont-l'Abbé (Finistère), the museum questions the traditional society of Bigoudene through the exhibition of rich collections of traditional objects, furniture and clothing. A goal motivates the recent research carried out within the structure: to nourish a universal reflection on man and his identity.

In addition to a permanent course, temporary exhibitions are regularly organized, for example in 2013 Bigoudène... so chic: urban fashion, peasant fashion, cross influences, 1850/1910 and in 2014 The invention of Bigouden Country.
