Château des Carmes

The Château des Carmes is a castle located in La Flèche in the Sarthe department. Fortress established in the middle of the 11th century, it was transformed by the religious Carmelites in the 17th century who established their convent there, and then became a special home after the Revolution. The oldest building in the commune, it was converted into a town hall in the early 20th century.
