église Saint-Révérien de Saint-Révérien
Saint-Réverian Church is a Catholic church located in Saint-Réverian, France. Dedicated to St.Reverian, it is an ancient Prioral, whose monastery was directly attached to the Abbey of Cluny, built between the end of the 11th and the beginning of the 12th century. Unique vestige of a Conventual Priory (with the residence of the prior and a farm), this Romanesque church (choir, walk-through and absidioles) and neo-Romanesque (nave and bell tower) contains remarkable capitals, funeral slabs, as well as frescoes of the 15th and 16th centuries.
Several times weakened or destroyed during its history, it was rebuilt in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is open every day.
