About

The chapel of the Parisians; sometimes called Chapel of the Dead, is a French chapel located in the Massif de la Sainte-Baume, in the commune of Plan-d'Aups-Sainte-Baume, in the department of Var. This chapel built in the 17th century at the initiative of a notable from Aix-en-Provence, to have there celebrated Masses for the dead of his family, was sacked at the Revolution. Several times, it was restored to historical monuments in 1913. His last restoration was in 2009.
