parc Rochegude
Rochegude Park is an Albi park located in the Cordeliers cultural district. Created at the end of the 18th century, the landscape of the park is organized around a French garden at the top and an English garden below. On four hectares, it has an 18th-century hotel transformed into an exhibition hall.
This hotel belonged, before its legacy in the state, to Admiral Rochegude whose bust adorns the park. A body of water and small waterfalls as well as various ancient or contemporary statues enhance the park. A children's play area and a bird path are also present.
More than 230 trees of 85 different varieties are listed. 15 trees exceed 30 meters high. The park was declared a remarkable garden in 2010.
