mémorial ACTe
The ACTe Memorial or "Caribbean Centre of Expressions and Memory of the Trait and Esclavage" is a memorial. It is located in the harbour of Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, on the site of the former house Darboussier. Initiated by the President of the Regional Council Victorin Lurel and the Regional Council of Guadeloupe on the proposal of the International Committee of Black Peoples (IPCN), the ACTe Memorial is a place dedicated to the collective memory of slavery and trafficking open to the contemporary world. The ACTe Memorial describes itself as the most ambitious place of memory ever dedicated to slavery.
