About

The Protestant church of Munster is a parish church of the Union of Protestant Churches of Alsace and Lorraine located in Munster, in the European Community of Alsace. Started in 1867 under the direction of architect Frédéric-Louis de Rutté, the construction was completed at the end of 1873. The inauguration of the building on 1 January 1874 brought to an end several decades of conflict between Catholic and Protestant communities, which had until then to share the church of Saint Léger.
