Musée Albert-Schweitzer

The Albert Schweitzer Museum is an Alsatian museum dedicated to the life and work of Dr.Albert Schweitzer. It is located in the Munster valley, in Gunsbach, in the French department of Haut-Rhin, a village where the doctor spent much of his childhood and where he owned a house, now transformed into a museum. The institution is run by the International Association for the Work of Dr.Albert Schweitzer de Lambaréné (AISL), to which Rhena, the daughter of Albert Schweitzer, donated the house.
