The Arcabas Museum in Chartreuse is a departmental museum of Isère located in the commune of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse. Located in the heart of the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park, the Arcabas en Chartreuse Museum is housed in the church of Saint-Hugues-de-Chartreuse, built in 1860 in the hamlet of Saint-Hugues-de-Chartreuse. Voulu, thought, made by a single artist, Arcabas, over more than thirty years, this ensemble comprising 111 works is one of the most accomplished achievements of the sacred art of the twentieth century.[Ref. necessary]
