The Musée de la Grande Chartreuse, founded in 1957, is a museum of art and history located in the heart of the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park at the place called La Correrie, in the commune of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse. Its purpose is to enlighten visitors on the Order of the Chartreux, their 900 years of history, their way of life and on the Great Chartreuse and its architecture.
