The Saint-Fulcran Cathedral of Lodève is located in the Hérault, Occitanie region, at the foot of the mountains about 54 km northwest of Montpellier, a little away from the Mediterranean coast. This typical Southern Gothic building is the seat of the former diocese of Lodève, which was destroyed during the Revolution, and its territory attached to the diocese of Montpellier. Today it is a parish church. This former cathedral was classified as a historical monument in 1840.
