The Carcassonne arenas are located in the commune of Carcassonne, in the French department of Aude. They have a capacity of 3000 people according to the Toro fiesta site, about the same number given by Jean-Baptiste Maudet (2500 to 3000).

Presentation: The initial arenas were built in 1952 and inaugurated on 8 June of that year by Pepe Dominguín, Luis Miguel Dominguín and the Mexican matador Humberto Moro, in front of Infante da Camara bulls. After a period of 58 years of cessation of activity, without the carcassonne taurin club having ceased to meet, the arenas regained their original function. First in demountable form, they were located at the location of the old destroyed arenas. Then, from 2006, they were integrated into a hard-core complex that also includes concert halls and hosts sporting events: the Jean Cau space, considered a kind of "Bercy Carcassonnais. However, they remain demountable.
