The ancient Arles departmental museum, known as "the Blue Museum", is a museum built in Arles in 1995, in a modern building designed by architect Henri Ciriani, on the peninsula where the ancient Roman circus was located. It houses the city's archaeological collections and depends on the departmental council of Bouches-du-Rhône. It has been extended since 2012.
