Saint-Séverin Church is a parish Catholic church located in Oinville-sur-Montcient, Yvelines, France. It was founded in 1127, but only the north wall of the nave remains of that time. The building revolves around a transept of the first Gothic period, whose cross of the transept serves as the basis for the central bell tower, and surprises by the cohabitation between arches-doubles of Romanesque bill, and capitals of hooks already fairly evolved, which were not before the end of the 12th century.
To the east of the transept, the choir consists of a square span of the same period, but largely redesigned, and a polygonal apse of the Renaissance, which is remarkable only for the baroque stone altarpiece it contains, and its decoration outside. Unequal lateral chapels occupy the angles between the transept and the choir. The northern one is expected to date back to the 13th century, with a rather rustic Gothic architecture, and the northern one displays the style of the late flamboyant period, shortly before the mid-16th century, and is marked by a vault with liernes and thirdrons decorated with four pendant keys.
