Pont des Viviers Chalons

The Pont des Viviers is located in Châlons-en-Champagne, it passes over the Mau. Stone bridge dating from 1612, it succeeded an old wooden bridge. The fishermen placed their fish pools in the Mau Canal.

Its two inverted tubes allow to divert the course of the river. While the banks were stairways, the repair of the stone wharfs had moved the tanks and fishing upstream to the Cordeliers bridge.
