site archéologique de Larina
Larina is an archaeological site located in Hières-sur-Amby, in the Isère department, in the Rhône-Alpes region. The site contains many remains of its occupation during several periods from the Bronze Age to the High Middle Ages. Built on a limestone rocky spur overlooking the upper Rhône river by more than 200 metres, the site is defended by an artificial lifting that limits an area of 21 hectares. The site has been classified as historical monuments since 12 April 1983, where it is also listed as a barred spur of Annoisin-Chatelans.
