The Palaghju alignment is a prehistoric site, bringing together several megalithic alignments and megalithic vaults, located in the municipality of Sartène in South Corsica.

History: The site was first mentioned in 1889 by Étienne Michon, who counted sixty to seventy menhirs in two groups. Louis Giraux reported another ten in 1914. The site undergoes numerous clandestine searches. Roger Grosjean carried out several excavation campaigns there from 1964 to 1968 and brought the number of monoliths discovered to two-hundred-fifty-eight, including three statues-menhirs which he called "Pagliaiu I to III"; Given the importance of the site, he described it as a "laboratory of Corsican megalithism". The site is classified as historical monuments by order of 23 October 1974.

Alignment: Including 258 menhirs, this is the highest concentration of this type of megalith in the Mediterranean basin.
