The covered alley of the Good Ladies is a megalithic monument composed of about thirty blocks of stone, of various sizes, located in Saint-Thomas-de-Courceriers in Mayenne.
History: The monument was discovered in the early 1970s by M. L. Avignon. He was registered as a historical monument by order of 14 June 1988.
Description: The monument is located near La Haute Sorie, about 2 kilometres southwest of the village of Saint-Thomas-de-Courceriers. It is located in a private field, bordering the sills but visible from the road. The covered driveway is west-east facing. It is about 7 meters long by 1.50 m wide. The monument is ruined: the table is 1 metre from the ground and a tree has grown in the middle.
Folklore: His name of Good Ladies comes from the fairies, as they were once called.
