jardin des Vestiges
The Vestiges Garden is a garden that houses the archaeological remains of the ancient Port of Marseille, France. The site, located behind the Bourse Centre in the 1st arrondissement, which is classified as historical monuments, was discovered in 1967. The garden was created by Joël-Louis Martin, landscape architect and is now part of the Museum of History of Marseille. Open to the public in 1983, the Jardin des Vestiges was renovated from September 2018 to September 2019, and was opened again on September 20, 2019.
