Lille Zoo, also known locally as the Bois de Boulogne Zoological Park, is a French zoological park located in the Hauts-de-France region, in the Vauban-Esquermes district of Lille, at the foot of the citadel. Opened in 1950, it is a property of the City of Lille. By 2025, it had more than 350 animals of 77 species on 3.5 hectares.
A permanent member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA), he is committed to ex situ conservation by participating in European programmes for endangered species (EEP). He is also a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) and the French Association of Zoological Parks (AFdPZ). The free entry, effective until 2016, helped make it one of the most visited tourist sites in the province and the first zoological park by its attendance from 2005 to 2014.
